Let’s go over how it works getting married with Distant Weddings. Our simple 3 step process will get you married and take care of everything from A-Z.

Book Your Date
Get signed up and schedule a date & time for your ceremony. Whether you’re looking to get married today, next week, or even in a few months from now, that’s completely up to you. We have availability 7 days a week, and can accommodate any time that’s most convenient for you.

Complete The Application
This is where you’ll fill out the marriage license application. The application is filled out 100% online, and takes about 10-20 minutes to complete. You will both need to have 1 form of valid ID ready for this. Your ID needs to be a government issued ID, with your Full Name, DOB, and a Profile Photo.

Get Married
The last and final step is to join the online video ceremony, where you will meet your US recognized officiant and get married. You’ll receive a digital copy of the marriage certificate immediately after your ceremony, and the physical copy will arrive in the mail within 3-10 business days. Congrats, you are now legally married!
